Hello ICONists, as usual, this report will go through our progress since our last report, what have we done so far and what we plan to do. Also, we will share our expenses to give you insight into how we utilized our funds.

As you know, since our last report, we have successfully integrated DAOlette and DAOblackjack of Iconbet to Tipicon. If you missed this update and want to start using Tipicon to play these games, check here. In order to increase the adoption and a gift to the users of Tipicon, we collaborated with Iconbet Community P-Rep group with a two-round promotion. Details of the promotion can be seen here. With the P-Rep group, we have distributed 2000 ICX in total, which was an enjoyable promotion to conduct. We would like to thank Iconbet Community P-Rep group for collaborating with us. For distribution of rewards, feel free to check here and here, Iconbet’s and ours respectively.

After Iconbet integration, Tipicon’s performance increased drastically. On average, Tipicon handles 35,000 transactions daily on average. As a time-based performance metric, Tipicon handled 675 transactions within the first week of its release. Then, after the first week of Iconbet integration, our transaction skyrocketed, reaching 122,624. Currently, we have passed 1.5 million in terms of transactions. We try to share important milestones of Tipicon from our Twitter, our first milestone can be seen here. Overall, we are quite grateful with these numbers, thanks to you for choosing our product.

We do not want to stop with Tipicon having only two dApps, hence we worked on integrating Iconswap to our product. We are working on some required UX improvements, then it will be ready to go. A sneak peek can be seen from below

Also, we have applied for Grant in order to have some funding to integrate 4 additional dApps to Tipicon, DAOlottery, DAOdice, DAOlevels and FutureICX. It was approved by the Foundation, which can be seen here. We held a public poll from our Twitter to see which dApp the community desires most and it was DAOlottery, results can be seen here. We have also started working on DAOlottery’s UI and created thinking about design flows that increases the UX of the dApp.

We have not stopped developing additional projects and managed to almost finalize our next project in our development pipeline, a tool that batches multiple transactions into one via UI and SCORE in the backend. SCORE part of this tool consists of batching transactions into a single transaction and sends it to the network. We have also integrated this SCORE to Tipicon’s airdrop functionality, which enables us to perform airdrop much faster. Foundation audited our development and it passed to mainnet, which can be seen from here with this update our contract doesn’t show any of the transactions on tracker while executing them for example. UI part of this tool consists of ICONex integration with browser and Excel import function. After importing the desired addresses from a CSV document, users can create multiple transactions that utilize their wallet on ICONex to create transactions to the addresses. Although blocks on ICON network are rather empty at the moment, this won’t be the case as the network grows and batching will be a necessary thing. We are foreseeing this requirement and stepped up to overcome this issue beforehand. Also, there is an ongoing network proposal with increasing the transaction costs by 10x. This tool will also reduce the transaction costs since it is only a single transaction in the network, rather than multiple. We are currently holding the release of this product since we are working on finalizing the UI design. As a sneak peek, we distributed our side of Iconbet Tipicon Integration promotion by using our tool, which can be seen here.

As a developer team, we also want to develop our dApp and we applied for Grant from Foundation for a game, which can be seen here. Although it was rejected, we believed it would be a great addition to the network, hence we have been using our own funds to create this project. Main mechanics of the game are still the same, yet we have changed the ownership and cost mechanisms drastically, although not finalized. We have designed the UI and created a rather generic SCORE to test how different game mechanics play out. We are quite excited about this project since it will be our first game, maybe with many to come. We will try to share updates with the community after being confident about the general design.

Since we have recruited a member that is proficient in marketing, we value her opinions highly. One of the first recommendations that she gave was to have a rather fresh look to our brand, Piconbello. Hence, we have started rebranding via changing our logo, having some generic templates that can be used in order announcements and website redesign later on. We are also creating an umbrella brand that covers Piconbello and more brands later on, which will be announced after finalizing rebranding.

Since our last report, we have liquidated 7,200 ICX and 7,600 at different times and used 1,000 ICX for our promotion. At time of liquidation 7,200 ICX made around 2300$, which was spent on the following:

  • 2100$ for IconPixel development to external developers
  • 200$ for server costs

7,600 ICX, at time of liquidation, made around 3000$, which was spent on the following:

  • 1500$ for batching tool UI design and bug fixes to external developers
  • 600$ for Tipicon dApp integration development to external developers
  • 600$ for rebranding designs to an external designer
  • 300$ for server costs

Overall, to ensure fast and quality development, we prefer to work with outsource developers that we trust, since our team member’s time to develop is rather limited.

Overall, we believe we have a great portfolio of work in our hands as a team and we are making sure to contribute to the community by being hard-working, transparent and community-oriented. If you like our work, please support us by voting for us, it means a lot for us. For any questions/feedback, feel free to contact us from our social media channels.
