2021 has started with a blast for us, we have so many new releases on our pipeline and we will make sure to fill you up on the news. This article will go through our mainnet release for Tipicon for Twitter.
Tipicon for Twitter was on testnet for like a month or so for you to test and give us feedback. Upon our testing and your feedback, we shaped the product according to our quality standards, both in terms of user experience and safety, and currently ready for release on the mainnet.
However, we have a request from you. Due to the rules of Twitter that were put in order to detect and limit the spamming/bot accounts, our current infrastructure of replying to the transactions to your tweets cannot be available for the time being. Twitter blocks any user that has little followers and does not interact with the system.
As a rule put by us, Tipicon for Twitter requires users to follow Piconbello, Tipicon and ICON Foundation pages before creating a wallet for you. What we want from you is to keep this rule in your mind and follow Tipicon for Twitter account. Without some followers, we will not be able to release the Direct Tweet commands for you to utilize since they will be blocked by Twitter itself. For some time, until our follower number for that account increases to a certain point, we will only open wallet creation for you to use.
